As restrictions continue and we crawl on hands and knees towards various milestones, I have turned again to my archive. On previous occasions, I decided not to scan certain pictures because of quality, composition or lack of accompanying information. Over recent years, I have improved my editing techniques (you might not agree) and I can better recover some of my older images even if the composition is not always what I would accept today. The very restrictions I refer to above have so far prevented me from seeing the innovative and attractive Class 230 in action on the Bedford to Bletchley line. Nearly 40 years ago (as I post), Class 105 Cravens dmu M56149+M50387 was seen approaching Lidlington from Bletchley. Geotagging approximate. 812003_200681E

This shot, using the cab shape to frame the impressive gantry of semaphores was meant to be clever but I felt much less clever when I fell over whilst taking it. 200_P1040830
