I still have a lot to learn about ground to air photography (and my cameras). I was lucky to recover this photograph from an exposure error. Doubly lucky because this lovely Dakota N74589/42-24064 was the first of several to arrive at Lee on Solent for a special event commemorating D-Day. This C-47 is on the US civil register as a DC-3C.
