More from Roundhouse Park (8) - 16 May 2019

Roundhouse Park in Toronto houses the modestly sized but interesting collection of the Toronto Railway Museum. I have posted two previous series from when it was known as the Toronto Heritage Railway Centre. The magnificently restored Canadian Pacific DS10-b no. 7020 was previously seen in my photograph of 20 October 2014 in a different scheme. www.trha.ca/trha/canadian-pacific-7020/ 200_3_P1110112

Canadian Pacific 1095 at Kingston (3) - 9 November…

The beautifully preserved Canadian Pacific 4-6-0 No. 1095 'Spirit of Sir John A.' can be seen at Confederation Park, Kingston, Ontario which was once a rail yard and the terminus of the K&P Railway (Kingston and Pembroke Railway). www.cityofkingston.ca/explore/culture-history/history/eng... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingston_and_Pembroke_Railway Much as I was pleased to discover the locomotive only yards from my hotel, I was equally displeased during my shoot when I saw the cone on the cab roof and saw also that it could not be moved. Deciding that Photoshop, which I use only rarely, was not an option in this instance, I reluctantly conceded that I would have to post my pictures as they are. 200_3_P1030676E

Return to Roundhouse Park (1) - 20 October 2014

The excellent Toronto Heritage Railway Centre in Roundhouse Park had been slightly reorganised since a September 2012 visit so I took new photographs. Baldwin DS44-1000 CP 7069 with DS10-b CP 7020. 200_2_P1010012
