AEC Regent III RT1808/KYY663 National Motor Museum, Beaulieu. Such is the prominence in the public mind of the Routemaster that the AEC Regent (RT and variants thereof) in London Transport service is less well remembered outside enthusiast circles and that, I think, is a shame. Nearly 7000 of the type were built, the majority by AEC. RT1808 has a Park Royal body and was in service from 1950 to 1976. 5300_DSC_1300R

The lighting at the excellent London Bus Museum, Brooklands facilitates photography and, although individual vehicles can be hard to frame, some nice group shots are possible.
