The title of this series will puzzle those viewing three of the photographs in it but former London Transport MB90 was indeed part of Hampshire Buses' Bristol RE 'Mini' Running Day in and around Winchester.
The MCW bodied AEC Merlin, SMM90F is seen standing at The Broadway, Winchester.

My short series today brings an interesting story (I hope) to bus enthusiasts. This ex-London Transport MCW Metrobus M67/WYW67T is today a long way from its former haunts as it sits on land at the rear of a disused petrol station near Trewint on the A30 in Cornwall. It is reported to be driveable but has a future as a themed diner ahead of it. The plan is to attach the catering trailer seen behind it to the nearside where, it appears, an aperture has already been prepared. The modified vehicle would subsequently remain stationary.
I am grateful to the owner of this site for access, permission to photograph and for an interesting chat about lots of things including his former employment at Aldenham.
