Photographic opportunities at Kings Cross were already limited and are now even more so with Covid restrictions in place. Add in the clutter of infrastructure when viewed from an elevated position on York Way, and this is about as good as it gets. The LNER titles have since replaced those of predecessor Virgin. The service runs southbound with one stop only, at Newcastle, and there is no northbound equivalent.
