A Sort of Homecoming The move of part of Type 1101 Standard VC10 G-ARVM from Cosford to Brooklands Museum brought it back to the Weybridge home from which it first flew on 8 July 1964. It is a shocking thing to see it in this condition but better than a complete scrapping. In my opinion, the VC10 is one of the most beautiful aircraft ever. 200_3_P1080716

The Classic Air Force, housed in the former Nimrod hangar at Newquay Airport (St Mawgan) preserves and, in some cases, flies numerous aircraft many of which were previously owned by Air Atlantique and displayed at Airbase Coventry. The recently arrived VC10 ZA148 is seen with Canberra VN799. X20_DSCF2213
