This was not originally listed for posting but I can not resist this kind of architectural detail and so the shot augments the preceding pictures of the former Eldridge Pope Dorchester Brewery in Brewery Square. 200_P1040901

Part of the rather disorganised hoardings around Brewery Square in Dorchester has the unintentional (or perhaps intended) effect of a trompe l'oeil when seen in the evening light. The evening light enhances the already wonderful architecture of The Maltings Arts in Dorchester's Brewers Square. Formerly part of the Eldridge Pope brewery, this will become a multi-element arts centre under the current development 200_P1040898

The brewery building will become a hotel. The windows are filled with pictures but closer inspection reveals how much work there is to do.
