My pursuit of railway history continued today in Sturminster Newton in Dorset where the actual infrastructure of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway (S&DJR) has all but disappeared but the route and station are marked. The station buildings and tracks would have occupied much of today's Station Road car park across which the Trailway is viewed. This is where the railway would have headed south towards Shillingstone. P1170169
