Volkswagen Beetle 6WUP752 The McCormick's Palm Springs Collector Car Auction was held in the parking lots of the Spa Resort Casino 22-24 November 2013. There were so many vehicles that I had to concentrate on those I really liked which were mostly VWs, Chevys and Ford Thunderbirds. I also tried to capture some lesser known types. Although the red Thunderbird produced my favourite picture, this Beetle with its matching trailer was absolutely my favourite car. It arrived on a low-loader and its trailer got a bit of a jolt as the vehicle was backed off. I make no apology for including a short series within this McCormick's album and hope to get this magnificent car into several sets and groups. P1190457
