1968 Cinelli Speciale Corsa

serial no. 3808 Purchased on eBay in September 2009 as a complete machine. This had been meticulously restored by its previous owner with a Brian Pritchett repaint, some of its original components and NOS replacements. Back on the road 11 November 2010. The Restoration This came with a TA triple crankset and bottom bracket and this was replaced by a period correct Campagnolo Nuovo Record “no date” Strada double crankset and Campagnolo bottom bracket. The wheelset comprising Campagnolo Record high-flange hubs and Super Champion Competition rims was replaced by a beautiful late 1950-60s one that I had on hand comprising Campagnolo “no Record” high-flange hubs and Fiamme “Longhi” red label rims with valve hole eyelets. A NOS Regina five-speed Corsa 13-19t freewheel and chain were fitted.
