The various shades of orange and yellow represent warmth and heat, the blues and purples represent cold, the green and blue orb represents the Earth (the blue water, the green land with its vegetation) while the circular grill represents our sun. All the different broken pieces represent the expansion of the universe as debris including stellar dust, ice, and organic compounds from the Big Bang expanded in all directions.
