The Severn-class lifeboat 'Osier' paying a visit to the Roker lifeboat station. The latter currently operates only two Inshore Lifeboats with Tynemouth lifeboat station, where Osier is based, covering offshore operations. The 'Edward Duke of Windsor' is a Trent-class lifeboat that is part of the relief vessel fleet that provides coverage in areas where the primary vessel may not be available.
