I captured this image yesterday late afternoon in my yard. The flower fully opened this morning to a gigantic size of nine inches in diameter! I have five of these deciduous hibiscus plants and they only started blooming a week ago. Most have 25-35 buds. Some of the buds are visible surrounding this flower.

Even though this picture was captured last spring, this rose has been blooming all winter.
