We wanted to see Maine, so we drove up from Massachusetts. We read about a Christmas Tree farm that welcomed temporary visitors. Here we are parked overnight (no electricity). We drove around Acadia for a day. There are several lakes in this peninsula, and they are very scenic. These rocks appear along the ocean coastline, which is just a few miles from this lake. Image processed with GIMP.

Very atypical of us, but we were NOT on a cruise. We were visiting Maine in our motorhome, and stopped for a few days in Bar Harbor. This town is popular with cruise lines, hence the ship anchored in the harbor. The rock formations of the harbor are interesting, a feature often applied to the entire coast of Maine. The folks in the foreground are probably crew members, not cruise passengers or idle tourists like ourselves. This photo was taken in 2011.
