Slowly restarting after the lockdown, Italy has now launched Phase 2 and reopened cafés and restaurants, albeit with some preventative measures, such as providing spaced-apart tables outside. In the nearly two months long lockdown, the Italian flag posted on this outside terrace in Florence lost a bit of its color, but is still presiding over the hopes of the first European country to be hard hit by the Covid 19 virus.
