The small town of Dunvegan on the west coast of the Isle of Skye is best known for Dunvegan Castle.
The castle sprawls on top of a rocky outcrop, sandwiched between the sea and several acres of beautifully maintained gardens. It has been the seat of the Clan MacLeod since the 13th century, but the present fortress dates from the 1840s.

A copy of a very old photo of the centre of the Quiraing on the Isle of Skye. This is an essential walk for any photographer as it passes though some of the most spectacular landscapes in Scotland.
As part of the Trotternish ridge it has been formed by a massive landslip which has created high cliffs, hidden plateaus and pinnacles of rock.

Neist Point is one of the most famous lighthouses in Scotland and can be found on the most westerly tip of Skye near the township of Glendale.
While the walk down is an easy one, the concrete path does get quite steep at times. From the path you will see stunning views of the high cliffs and the lighthouse itself, at sunset the view is made even more spectacular making this a top destination for landscape photographers.

Claigan Coral Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Isle of Skye, with stunning views over Camas Ban.
Known locally as a ‘wee gem’, Claigan Coral is a fantastic place to spend a day. Despite its name, the beach is not actually made of coral but of fossilised and sun-bleached algae. At low tide, explore the tidal island of Lampay, which is just a short walk across the bay. It is 4 miles of single track road from Dunvegan Castle to the small carpark. From the carpark, it is a short 1 mile walk to the beach.

The Storr is a rocky hill on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The hill presents a steep rocky eastern face overlooking the Sound of Raasay, contrasting with gentler grassy slopes to the west.
Folklore swirls around the Old Man of Storr, the rocky pinnacle which towers high over the west of the island. Legend has it that Old Man of Storr was a giant who had lived in Trotternish Ridge and when he was buried, his thumb was left jutting out the ground, creating the famous jagged landscape.
