Here's the newly modernised mainline south of Senohraby, albeit obscured by snow.

Nadrazi Senohraby was recently modernised, and so I've been taking more photos there this year than in the past. The trains, however, are often still ancient, like this Class 451 "Pantograph" EMU from the 1960's.

In spite of the vandalism mentioned earlier, and the advanced age of the Class 451 and 452 "Pantograph" EMU's, the units are still being repainted again and again. This was the first one that I saw in the new two-tone blue and grey local livery.

I have a number of photos of Nadrazi Senohraby on Flickr already, but this is the first one that I think I have taken from the platform (or it's one of the few, anyway). The station was recently renovated almost beyond recognition by the Prague-Ceske Budejovice Corridor Reconstruction Project. Where I was standing was a giant mud pit only a year earlier, and a year before that it looked like little had changed since the 19th Century.

Nadrazi Senohraby has been more or less completely modernised during the corridor reconstruction project, and is more or less complete. In its current form, it's virtually unrecognisable, given the steam-era mudpit that it used to be, although the steam-era station building has been retained.
