Here's the often-ailing but always-cool Lomo 135BC I've been experimenting with lately, and which is responsible for all of my uploads on Dec. 16, 2006th!! I took the photo with my reliable, but not always exciting, Pentax MZ-10, which appears to have performed flawlessly on this occassion. :-)

St. Ludmila's Church absolutely dominates Namesti Miru, and can be seen from blocks away. "Mir" means "peace" in Czech, same as in Russian, and one could say that having a church in such a place is appropriate enough.

Many of Prague's buildings are covered in sculptures, even in a relatively modern neighborhood like that around Namesti Miru. My Lomo may not have been the ideal choice for taking this picture, but it's what I had on me. :-)

I took this as I was boarding 810103-2, which was running completely light (one car only) working a service to Praha-Liben. I would get off at Holesovice, where I would photograph the Pendolino for the first time.

810103-2 was working a service arriving from Praha-Liben, which I would take back as far as Holesovice for a connection with the Prague metro. Like the Masarykovo Nadrazi sculpture, I didn't get around to posting this until now.
