Jon Searles' photos with the keyword: bus stop

My next photographic trip was to Modrany, although for this one I didn't take my bike, even though I had originally planned to. Instead, I went by bus, since it would be easier. This was when I was at the Opatov bus stop, and I had both my Nikon N80 and my cameraphone. I had seen shots like this on Flickr before, so I decided to experiment, and this was the result.

The sign on the bus stop appears to be a practical joke. "Praskovo Namesti" means something like "Pig's Square" in Czech, and this is actually Jiraskovo Namesti. In the distance you can see Smichov (or at least Prague 5), and the Malostranske Vodaren. Vez.

This is "downtown" Nova Pec, although the Czechs wouldn't refer to it as a downtown, of course. Actually, I'm not sure if anyone else would, either, unless they knew how small this village is.
