This was an alternate to the shot I posted earlier of this same train. Here you can see the sillouettes of the auto racks better.

Here, from a different angle, it's possible to see Zizkov and the Zizkovska televizni vez, or Zizkov Television Tower, the tallest structure in Prague.

Freight at Sunset in Zizkov, Prague, CZ, 2010

This was a lucky shot that I got walking into Zizkov at dusk, which actually meant quite late at night, as during the summer in Prague it doesn't start to get dark until after 2100 hours. This looks to be a Class 111 with a rake of auto racks, although whether these are new cars or the cars of rail passengers (to be coupled to a long-distance passenger train) I don't know. The bridge was built after I moved to Prague, around 2007 or so (It took awhile to build, starting around 2005) as part of major rerouting of the mainlines through Karlin and Zizkov. On this particular night, I had the chance to walk one of the recently abandoned roadbeds (if I'm not mistaken), only recently converted to a bike path. It would be cool to post some info on that sometime soon, but I haven't got proper photos of it since I didn't have enough light on this particular night.

Modernist Architecture In Zizkov, Prague, CZ, 2009

It's funny what you find in Prague if you look. These very modernist buildings are tucked away in a side street in Zizkov. The reason why I was in Zizkov on this particular evening was that I was going to see the first of the United Islands of Prague performances at Club Matrix, one of 17 venues selected for June 18th, the first day of the festival, one day before the main stages on the islands opened. On this night CCTV All Stars, the Spankers, and Green Smatroll played, but I left after the Spankers set, as I recall.

Southwest Prague From Petrinsky Sady, Prague, CZ,…

At least....I'm pretty sure this was Petrinsky Sady. Most of my cityscapes from above are taken from there, as there aren't many other vantage points you can shoot from, other than maybe Letenske Sady, which I've rarely used, if ever, Vysehrad, which this is almost certainly not, and the Hrad, which I'm fairly certain this isn't.
