Map and Weather Sign at Pec pod Snezkou, Kralovehr…

This was a sign, and picture/map at the foot of Snezka, outside the cable car station at Pec pod Snezkou. It's debatable whether the "map" is really a map, as it's really more of a drawing of Snezka, in perspective, with key locations marked. Neither of the place names on the sign refer to the location of the sign, as "Snezka" refers to the summit, and "Ruzova hora" refers to an intermediate station on the cable car route. The temperatures and wind speeds also refer to those locations.

This was as good an angle as I could get up Snezka from Pec pod Snezkou. The station for the cable cars, and a glimpse of the cables, can be seen in the center-left of this shot.

There wasn't any bouy or other indication that this rock was just under the water. I'm assuming it was left there because it wasn't considered important, as Upa is relatively small, and doesn't have any high-speed boats or diving boards to create a major hazard.

This bridge was for pedestrians, and was almost above the dam that supports Upa.

I don't know the full story of the construction site on the left, but the buildings on the right are part of the "Relax Park" across the street from Cafe-grill Promenada.

Across the street from Promenada is a small amusement park called Relax Park, but behind Promenada, over an artificial pond called Upa, are some zip lines. I didn't ask who operates them (whether Relax Park or someone else), and I don't even know if they're still there (as I took these photos in 2015). However, in 2015, there were still people using them.

This was the dog menu at Cafe-grill Promenada. This isn't actually the only time I've seen this in Czech restaurants, as most of them allow guests to bring their dogs.

This was the menu at Cafe-grill Promenada. There was a separate section in the menu for dogs.

Cafe-grill Promenada is a small cafe at the foot of Snezka, the tallest mountain in the Czech Republic at 1603 metres (5,260 feet) ASL. I was here with a friend before we took the cable car up the mountain in order to hike down.
