Blurred Tatra T6A5 Tram at the Meet Factory at Nig…

This was a lucky shot with my cameraphone while I was waiting for a show behind the Meet Factory, a club closely connected to the alternative sculptor David Cerny. The tram is a Tatra T6A5 built around 1996, although the number is too blurred to read.

This is a shot that I took walking back towards Hlavni Nadrazi from Linka 011, on Hybernska. This shot is heavily edited, because the negative was damaged in scanning. I think it looks alright now. This is Tatra T6A5 #8744.

This is a considerable edit of a larger shot. 8701 is another Tatra T6A5.

I was sitting in an Italian/Greek restaurant on Korunni and I discovered that it wasn't a bad tram watching spot. Nothing exotic showed up by Prague standards, but I generally like Prague trams. 8667 is a Tatra T6A5 built around 1996.

Here's #8604 at the I.P. Pavlova tram stop on Jugoslavska, which becomes Jecna after the next intersection. The Metro station in on the corner of that intersection behind the tram stop in this photo.

Here's a T6A5 at the intersection of Jugoslavska and Belehradska. The snow was much deeper than it looks here, partly because the streets have been partially ploughed already.

This was another lucky shot, although luckily not when I had to get someplace fast. 8685 had run into technical problems on Jecna, blocking traffic.

Lately, I've been shooting more tram photos than ever before at Radlicka, where there's a turning loop and a Metro station (for Line B). Here we can see all but one of the current DPP tram classes, at least if you don't count the T3 variants. From left to right, 8244 is a Tatra T3M, 9150 is a Skoda 14t, and 8750 is a Tatra T6A5.

This is my first night shot in awhile, particularly my first night tram shot in awhile, and I'm actually a bit surprised by how good it looks. The scanner used was a horrible photo lab one, scanning in very low resolution, and this shot was anything but adequately planned. I don't actually know if I even had a tripod, and it's clear that I would have needed superb luck to nail this with 200 ISO film even with one. I'm assuming the tram was stopped.

The location is just one that I remember, without remembering very much else about the day in question. I actually rediscovered this shot when I was scanning the roll, as I had completely forgotten about it. I'm assuming that this was a joke done at the depot, and not what a vandal would do....vandals are idiots and probably wouldn't be able to come up with this.

Here's a new Skoda 14T in line with a Tatra T6A5 built about ten years earlier. A telling illustration of how much time has passed since 1989 is how both are post-Communist.
