I've taken a number of photos of the new Skoda 15t trams already, but this was one of the newest units at the time that I took this, and it was the first one that I caught substituting for a metro line, in this case Metro line A, hence the service number XA.

Having 1600 ISO film allowed me to photograph moving trams with a handheld camera in the middle of the night, so since I had limited time to photograph the Metro as midnight approached, I settled down in I.P. Pavlova to do some tram photography. This T3SU, on Jugoslavska at the intersection of Jugoslavska and Belehradska, has advertising livery for a bakery.

Here's #8604 at the I.P. Pavlova tram stop on Jugoslavska, which becomes Jecna after the next intersection. The Metro station in on the corner of that intersection behind the tram stop in this photo.

This is the I.P. Pavlova Metro station, one of the oldest on the system, built around 1970, if I'm not mistaken. Construction of the Metro lasted from about 1967-1974, with service starting between what is now Florenc (then called Sokolovska) and Kacerov in 1974.

Here's a T6A5 at the intersection of Jugoslavska and Belehradska. The snow was much deeper than it looks here, partly because the streets have been partially ploughed already.

This was yet another random shot in I.P. Pavlova that I thought came out okay. I haven't decided whether I should eliminate the tilt of this shot or not. It may be technically incorrect, but I like it.

This was my first-ever cameraphone shot, which I took right after walking out of the store. In spite of being an action shot in the rain, it came out fine.

The location is just one that I remember, without remembering very much else about the day in question. I actually rediscovered this shot when I was scanning the roll, as I had completely forgotten about it. I'm assuming that this was a joke done at the depot, and not what a vandal would do....vandals are idiots and probably wouldn't be able to come up with this.

Well....what else would you call them? I don't know if I've ever seen hippy construction workers anywhere.....but Prague, or at the very least, if they were hippies, they didn't take it this far. :-) "At least, well, at least, at least elsewhere they stay undercover....I mean.....they could be a bad influence on...." :-) :-) :-) :-)
