This is not a church, but Hamburg's city hall, or Rathaus. Built between 1886 and 1897, and designed by Martin Haller (1835-1925), who also designed the American Consulate, it survived World War II intact. One interesting anecdote is that in 1971, a secret room was found in the tower, leading to theories that there could be more. Officially, there are already 647 rooms known.

I did three shoots of the Radnice while I was in Liberec, one with the Lomo, and two with the Ikoflex, one with Portra (which I haven't uploaded yet, and may never), and one with Fomapan, namely this one. This might be my favorite shot of the bunch.

This is the square, bustling with bike and pedestrian (as well as car) traffic that the city hall and Palace Hotel sit on. The Palace Hotel is the building on the right, owned by Le Meridien, it is expected to reach five-star standards by the time its current renovation is complete. Built in 1910, it's Art Nouveau architecture, by now historic in nature, is another of its selling points.
