And...finally, another view from Zelny Trh.

Here's another view of the Cathedral down Josefska.

This was, oddly, one of my first good photos of Brno Cathedral, in spite of my having had a much longer visit previously, and at this point in my second trip I had only just got off the train. Officially known as the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, it was built gradually during the 14th and 15th Centuries.

As I was walking back from the Mala Strana, I thought the light had improved, so I took another shot of Tynsky Chram. I haven't decided which is better, as this one actually looks darker.

In Malostranske Namesti, I took two shots of Miklasky Chram. This was the better one. The lines through the picture in the sky are the cantenary for the trams, another fixture of the square for over 100 years.

Tynsky Chram in the Snow, Prague, CZ, 2010

Immediately after getting back from Greece, I loaded up the Ikoflex, for the first time in a few years, with a roll of expired Pan F that I had. The results were fine, some of my better shots, actually, but I had trouble finding a lab that were willing to scan the negatives. In the end, I had prints made and scanned them, but I'm still looking for a proper scanner to have these done.

Built in 1750 to replace an earlier one destroyed by fire which dated to 1358, this church is now a protected national historic site.

Rarely seen from the rear, although this photo is of the right rear, this is the Tynsky Chram, usually seen from the front, towering over Staromestske Namesti. In actual fact, Tynska Ulicka, a narrow and relatively unknown street runs behind it, giving visitors the chance to see it in full.

This is a closeup side view of the basilica, showing some odd color patches on the wall, with what looks like an electrical conduit through them. I have no idea what the reason is or was for these colors, and to say the least I'm curious.

Next to the town hall was this church, or rather basilica, where it is alleged St. Vaclav (a.k.a. St. Wenceslas, a.k.a. St. Wenceslaus, a.k.a. Wenceslas or Wenceslaus I) was murdered by his brother Boleslav (a.k.a. Boleslaus I, a.k.a. Boleslaus the Cruel)in 935 C.E. This basilica is in a baroque style, not yet used at the time of construction (1039-1046), so I have to assume, although I don't know the history, that it was renovated at sometime in the 17th or 18th Century. At the time of the murder, however, an older church, the St. Kosma and Damian church stood here, and it is said that indeed Vaclav was murdered at the door of the older church, just not this one.

Miklasky Chram, Prague, CZ, 2008

This shot was easier than the tram shot, and was taken a few minutes later. I think that this may be my best nightshot yet of Miklasky Chram, as interference from the streetlights limited past attempts.

The Church of St. Nicholas is the most notable church in the Mala Strana, or Lesser Quarter, of Prague, although it is overlooked by St. Vitus Cathedral on the Hradcany (not visible here). I took this while I was walking around with my camera and tripod, and realized that I could get an almost perfect night shot here. It is imperfect, however, due to the aura on the lower right, which I expect is a streetlight.

Painted Effect, St. Vitus Cathedral And Mala Stran…

When I originally took this, it was a disaster, horribly overexposed, which surprised me for a night shot. Therefore, I tried fixing it in Photoshop, and instead got this interesting painted effect, so I decided to keep it for that reason, rather than because it was a good night shot of Prague.
