This was my first proper photo since getting back. You can see the Austrian Cultural Centre, the Schlogl music store, the largest Bat'a store in the world, and the square itself.

This is a generic photo taken from the old town square, but the center point is the zamek. As with the other landmarks mentioned earlier, I wouldn't mind knowing what building that is on the right, with the clock tower.

Here's the radnice, or town hall, of Nachod. This is the "Nove Radnice," or "New Town Hall." Annoyingly, like the church I can't get much information on it beyond the fact that it's the new one, and that it's a registered historic site.

Here's an alternate shot of the church. Again, if someone has more information on it, please let me know. I found a list of Nachod landmarks on Wikipedia... cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Náchod ....but the links to the churches are dead, so I can't determine which one this is.

This is the church in the old town square in Nachod. I'm still looking for info on it, but it looks like it could have medieval origins.

This is one of the old water pumps in town. The Czech Republic still has these all over the country, in both Bohemia and Moravia, in spite of their scarcity in many other developed countries. Even Prague still has them, although the water isn't fit to drink from all of them.

This is the famous Baroque town square of Telc, which actually has some buildings dating back to the 16th Century.

As I was walking back from the Mala Strana, I thought the light had improved, so I took another shot of Tynsky Chram. I haven't decided which is better, as this one actually looks darker.

In Malostranske Namesti, I took two shots of Miklasky Chram. This was the better one. The lines through the picture in the sky are the cantenary for the trams, another fixture of the square for over 100 years.

Swinging the Ikoflex (still on the tripod) over to my right, I got this shot right after the Tynsky Chram shot.

Immediately after getting back from Greece, I loaded up the Ikoflex, for the first time in a few years, with a roll of expired Pan F that I had. The results were fine, some of my better shots, actually, but I had trouble finding a lab that were willing to scan the negatives. In the end, I had prints made and scanned them, but I'm still looking for a proper scanner to have these done.

I've taken a version of this shot before, but this is the first time I got a shot of Velke Namesti with a nice camera, as last time I only had a disposable.

Every month, usually the third Thursday of the month, an organization called Auto*Mat organises a mass bike ride called Cyklojizda. This is considered by many to be Prague's Critical Mass ride, although there are a number of differences from a conventional Critical Mass ride, most notably that it is organised more deliberately, and the relations between the riders and the police are invariably better, usually with the police providing some traffic control for the riders. Typically, the ride starts here, in Namesti Jiriho z Podebrad, but in the past it has also been started from other locations, most notably Staromestske Namesti.

This is the town museum of Sedlcany, with the clock tower, which has a great deal of local exhibits, of course, but my best story from this place was that a guy there was collecting U.S. State quarters. He just wanted me to mail him some, but I told him, in broken Czech and German, that I lived in Prague. He seemed to think that I went to the U.S. practically every week, so he just asserted that I should pick some up the next time I'm home. Eventually, I got out of any deals, but I still would like to track him down sometime. The problem is that he doesn't use the internet....so....what could I do???
