Tower Blocks, Pankrac, Prague, CZ, 2007

In addition to the City Tower, Pankrac is also home to the Corinthia Panorama Hotel, seen on the left, and a convention centre connected to the hotel, seen on the bottom and, I think, as the tower on the far right, which also houses offices.
Cranes, Pankrac, Prague, CZ, 2007

This is another random snapshot from Pankrac in Prague. I thought the cranes looked interesting, at least. This whole lot is now heavily under construction after lying empty for all the time that I've lived in Prague, and since I took this a large building is now under construction on the site, with progress at an advanced stage.
City Tower, Light Leaks, Pankrac, Prague, CZ, 2007

The City Tower in Pankrac sat abandoned from 1989 until this year, when someone finally decided to finish it. It was originally a Communist project from the 1980s, but was never completed and to this day remains under construction, even if its future looks much more bright now. Much more on it has been completed since I took this, and in fact most of the windows have now been installed. I took this photo with my leaky Lomo 135BC, hence the light leak on the upper right.
Pankrac, Light Bracket, Prague, CZ, 2007
Pankrac, Dark Bracket, Prague, CZ, 2007

This is one of two photos that I took of Pankrac, in uncertain lighting conditions, so I ended up bracketing even with the Lomo. This one I shot at f11 and 1/250, I think, which made it too dark technically, but better in some ways than the f11 1/125 bracket, which was the other one.
Sunset, City Tower, Pankrac, Prague, CZ, 2007

This building lay dormant from the fall of Communism until this year, when construction finally restarted in earnest on it. It's one of the more interesting buildings in Prague, being a building under construction that was abandoned for so long, but I must admit that I'm generally ignorant of it otherwise, so any input would be welcome, particularly if I got the name wrong. I mainly took this shot for the sunset, though, bracketed three times, and got this shot that looks a bit like an HDR, but isn't. At least it worked!! :-)
