I recently visited Santa Catalina Convent at Arequipa, 600 miles south from Lima A lovely city with fantastic weather, is called The withe city because many of its oldie houses and buildings were made with a vulcanic stone called sillar.(white stone) Santa Catalina Convent (in honour to Santa Caterina of Siena) was builded in 1579 and could be visited. Is a city inside the city of Arequipa. At the covent blue and red colours fight for predominance. So my next several shots try to sample this beautiful colours inside the Convent. The picture shows a red geranium over a blue wall
