Upsala Glacier is the largest glacier in South America. It is 60 km long . It can be reached only by boat, sailing among the icebergs floating in Lago Argentina. That's what we did. I took this picture from Upsala Glacier viewpoint. Lago Argentino is the biggest freshwater lake in Argentina, with a surface area of 1,415 km2 . It is 15.000 years old and lies within the Los Glaciares National Park (Unesco World Heritage) in a landscape with numerous glaciers. Glaciar Upsala is the largest glacier in South America. It is 60 km long . You can reach it only by boat, sailing among the icebergs, or ice islands, floating in Lago Argentino.
