As some of you know, I'm in Cornwall looking after my parents who are frail and getting on a bit. I found this old photo which was grainy and of poor quality to begin with but I just liked it so I took a photo of the photo and here it is! He was, by the way, a wine merchant of some standing and renown in his day! I would love to know what the wine was that was giving so much pleasure but, alas .. ! ... Add on ... my dad thinks it was at a wine tasting he put on once a month at the local community centre and where I helped out when I could. In Wallington south London near his shop 'The Wine House' . He thinks it might have been a sherry tasting and I can recall it and I think he's right, and the year was 1988.
