More or less the half way point on my favourite low tide rock hop! Sadly, since 2013, I haven't been able to do this walk as a storm re-configured part of the coast, rendering progress at one particular point impossible.

My low tide coastal shoreline walk at about the halfway mark. Mussels cling to the rocks. A bit small at this time of year but as it was September 1st, quite OK to collect them! (In Britain there is a saying that you should only eat oysters when there is an 'r' in the month; therefore August - no, September - yes. I know these aren't oysters but I stick to the same reasoning to do with their spawning season!)

An all time favourite (in my top 10!). North Cliffs, Cornwall on a lovely day. Shot taken in 2012. Today it would not be possible as this section of coast just here in front of me has crumbled into the sea.
