A tiny fishing village near Land's End, Cornwall. A tunnel between the two fishing coves.

The tunnel links the small beach at this tiny fishing hamlet, with a more protected cove. The small boats could be hauled through the tunnel up to the latter if the seas threatened to be too rough for the beach. That frayed old blue rope is handy if the granite is wet underfoot! For Pam!

This tunnel was dug to enable access between two small coves, each of which is used for fishing boats. Very near Land's End, West Penwith, Cornwall. For Pam.
