Taken in September 1979, this is a photo of a photo that was once in an album. Les Calanques are very beautiful sea inlets with limestone cliffs all around, between Marseilles and Cassis. I spent a week there climbing on the sea cliffs with friends. We stayed in the campsite high above the town of Cassis.

Taken in 1979 with my old Pentax ME and scanned from a slide a few years ago. I was on the boat from Cassis to the Calanques where I did a bit of climbing on the spectacular sea cliffs (no photos there I'm afraid, I was concentrating too hard clinging to the rock face!).
