The corner of Fore Street and Telegraph Street. I rather like these weatherboarded cottages. There was a town cross here until the late 18th century but it had to go as the waggons loaded with tin couldn't get by. There are a few such alleyways here; some have a mysterious, almost spooky, air about them.

My walk back from my last class tonight took me past these obelisks near the Puente de Toledo. When I get time, I will Google these obelisks to find out about them and report back. Please be patient!
