He has already passed the crux, which is the obvious overhang. He did this with the help of his climbing partner who then led and has already finished the top pitch and is now taking a few well-earned deep breaths, just out of sight. The top here is the highest point in the Sierra de La Cabrera at 1,564 metres or 5,131 feet

I've posted another couple of climbers here before. This pair were equally skillful! You need to be VERY sure of your your technique, strength and above all your protection gear at this overhang! The Guardian of the Mountains is stoically tolerating it all! And why not? After all, he is getting a free eyelash makeover!

Surmounting the overhang, El Cancho Largo. In many of my photos from La Sierra de La Cabrera you can see a mushroom shaped rock at the top of the crest and, indeed, it is the highest point of the Sierra. This is it in close up.
