I took a few shots of these ponies here and only two were in full sun and they are the ones I have posted before now. But I quite like the muted atmosphere of these more shaded shots so I proffer one here! For Pam.

The sun is starting to come out and it became a glorious day. Half an hour before, as can be seen in these shots (these three were taken within an hour of each other), the weather was awful and the sea was rough.

South West Peninsula Coast Path. August 2014 My question for the group 'Ask an Expert' is this. Are these actually Shetland ponies? It sparked a lively debate on Panoramio but was never truly resolved. The notice boards all say Shetland Ponies, but quite a few viewers said they were too big and must be another breed..
