The colours of autumn can be gorgeous. Not only nature but the light as well. This impression is from one of my favorite locations called Ersfjord. The light here changes all the time, from deep blue/white in spring to orange/red in autumn. And do not forget the greens of the northern light. Just find those photographes in my gallery. Every one needs a good wreck... This is a wreck not far from Tromsø city center. A place to revisit many times. The weather changes, the light changes, the tide changes. Wreck info; "Oimara" the boats real name has been "stranded" 'of shoreline for nearly 100 years. The ship was built in England and was first used as Russian freight skip. The ship had a oak hull and iron pail, which meant that the ship was exceptionally strong built. After the revolution in Russia the ship came with refugees from Murmansk to Tromsø who eventually settled here. And the ship was left on Tomasjordneset in ca.1917-1927 where it became a residence for cormorants in Tromsø. This must be my last autumn mood upload for this year. And I'll keep it simple with only colour and silhouettes. We move a fjord to the north and a little higher up. I could not resist. After the warm welcome at Ipernity I'll like to treat you with a colourful image. It is one of my favorite spots close to Tromsø. This time not in blue but in orange shades.The picture is taken from a bit higher elevation. In the fall one can often observe red and orange colours in the evening.
