RHH's photos with the keyword: coral fungus

This is one of the Coral Fungi, probably the Crested Coral Fungus, Clavulina cristata, photographed along the Thunder Creek trail while backpacking there with our oldest daughter.

The same day we the Glasshouse Mountains we also went to Kondalilla Falls National Park and hiked the trails there. This is a Coral Fungus, probably Ramaria botrytioides, that we found along the trail. Both my wife and I photographed it but she had the better photos and this is one of them.

Found along the Old Mount Si trail on our way back down from the summit. This is about a foot across (30cm) and they can be much larger. They are edible though I have never tried them.
