RHH's photos with the keyword: grand teton national park

These are the Tetons, the main feature of Grand Teton National Park, with Grand Teton the highest peak and Jackson Lake just visible. While recovering from my surgery my wife and I traveled across Montana and Wyoming to meet with one of our daughters and her family in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We camped two nights in Grand Teton National Park on the way there.

When in Grand Teton National Park this summer we photographed this wildflower which grows across Europe and North America. Know as Meadow Salsify, Goatsbeard and Jack-go-to-bed-at-noon, its botanical name is Tragopogon pratensis.
