This is the Singapore Opera House on the Esplanade in downtown Singapore. It has been named "the Durian" for its shape, so like the "king of fruits," and though often criticized seems to be a building of which the Singaporeans are very proud. We thought it was beautiful. The photo was taken at a high ISO and the camera was handheld and braced on a railing, so it is not as sharp as it could be, nor is it free from "noise" but it was the best I could do under the circumstances, and is a nice reminder of our time in the beautiful island city of Singapore.
