Photographed along the Marrdja Botanical Rainforest walk in the area of Cape Tribulation, these palms are magnificent. We had traveled from Port Douglas to the area of Cape Tribulation and spent a day there exploring this remarkable place where "rainforest meets reef."

Taken on a recent hike along the Thunder Creek Trail. My youngest brother, Tim, and my wife were the other hikers and we did about 10 miles.
