Photographed along the Hidden Lake trail in Glacier National Park, Montana. The flowers include two different Indian Paintbrush, Elephant's Head Lousewort, a Rocky Mountain Aster and a White Sedge.

This photo was taken along the Hidden Lake trail at Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. The water, I believe, is Reynolds Creek, and the peak in the distance Piegan Mountain. We hiked the trail in the morning to avoid the crowds. I'll not be on line the rest of the day or tomorrow. We are traveling to the other side of the state to see and say goodbye our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren before they return to Australia (Bridbane) on Monday.

We had to get up early to avoid the crowds but one of the mornings we were in Glacier National Park we went to Logan Pass and hiked the Hidden Lake trail, the photo taken along the trail.

One of the mornings of our family vacation some of us were up early and went to Logan Pass where we hiked several trails including the trail to Hidden Lake overlook. We had intended to hike to the lake but the trail was closed because grizzlies were roaming the area. The peak is Bearhat Mountain.

Mountain goats photographed along the Hidden Lake trail in Glacier National Park, Montana. We had to dodge them in several cases, since there were quite a few of them and they were moving across the trail and around the area and can be dangerous.
