RHH's photos with the keyword: red rock

This is some of the red rock which is found all through the area of Winchester Mountain and which gave Mount Larrabee its old name "Red Mountain." I've looked for a good geologic explanation of it, but have found none. All I found was the fact that it is crumbly and that climbers do not like it.
