A widely ranging species found in Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, French Guiana, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and Venezuela.

These tiny orchids are native to the Dominican Republic. The flowers are only a few millimeters in size but their jewel-like quality makes up for their size.
