While in San Antonio, Texas, we biked the mission trail, a ten-mile hiking and biking trail that connects five old Spanish missions along the San Antonio River. We photographed this Trumpet Vine along the way.

The Mission Trail is a paved, ten-mile hiking and biking trail the follows the San Antonio River south. When we were in Texas recently we stayed at a guesthouse along the river, rented these electric-assist bikes and did the twenty miles of trail, visiting four old Spanish missions along the way. This is my wife on her bike. We were capable on doing the trail with ordinary bikes but wanted a leisurely day which the electric-assist bikes provided.
