RHH's photos with the keyword: linariifolia

This is one of the many Indian Paintbrush we saw while hiking in the Colorado Rockies. I've identified it as Wyoming Paintbrush, Castilleja linariifolia.

Wyoming Paintbrush, Castilleja linariifolia, is a common wildflower in the western USA. These were photographed along the Maroon-snowmass trail in the Colorado Rockies.

The red Indian Paintbrush are hard to identify but I think this is the Wyoming Painbrush photographed neat the beginning of our recent backpacking trail.

This Indian Paintbrush was photographed in the Fountain Paint Pots area of Yellowstone National Park. I believe it is the Wyoming Paintbrush, though these Paintbrushes are very difficult to distinguish.
