Tahquamenon Falls State Park is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, not far from the south shore of Lake Superior. The Upper Falls are the most impressive and there are walkways to the falls with various viewpoints. The photos I earlier posted of the falls were taken from the viewpoint at the brink of the falls (just visible in the photo). These were taken further down the river.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park is on the Tahquamenon River near Lake Superior. The park features two falls, upper and lower. We visited there in the autumn when the trees were changing, this photo of the river below the Upper Falls. The white is not ice but foam from the falls.

Upper Tahquamenon Falls is in a state park in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There are various viewpoints along the gorge through which the river runs, one of them at the brink of the falls that is visible in this photo. They are are reached by hundreds of steps and walkways.
