After wandering down the Oregon coast all day, the third day of our meanderings there, we stopped at Gold Beach north of Brookings, Oregon, and relaxed for several hours, wandering the beach, eating our evening meal and enjoying the sunset.

After waiting several hours for the sunset at Gold and Meyers Beaches, Oregon, we were finally rewarded with a beautiful and colorful display, the end to a wonderful day of traveling down the coast.

Watching the sunset at Gold and Meyers Beaches in Oregon I had hoped to be able to get some photos among the sea stacks, but the tide was coming in and by the time it was down the tide was so far in that the sea stacks were well out of reach.

We spent the last hours of daylight on June 14th at Meyers Beach, Oregon, watching the tide come in and waiting for the sunset. We had our evening meal there and rested before heading on into California where we spent the night.
