We are in Edmonton helping our daughter and her family and new baby, so my internet time has been sporadic and often interrupted. My apologies to those whose kind and timely comments have not yet been returned. This is Grotto Geyser in Yellowstone's Upper Geyser Basin. It erupts about every eight hours to a height of ten feet. There are stories of people climbing through the holes in the geyser cone and nearly being roasted alive.
